Today I’m doing a quick, simple yet yummy juice as part of my juicing recipes. Sometimes I like to make really quick simple juices, however, today’s juice has a slight twist!

C32 Healthy Juice #2

 

  • 2 Organic Cucumbers
  • 1 Organic Zucchini
  • 2 Organic Carrots
  • 1 500gm bag Organic Baby Spinach
  • 1 large stick of Organic Parsley
  • ¼ to ½ Bunch of Celery
  • 3 Organic Apples
  • 1 Organic Beetroot
  • 2cm think piece Ginger
  • 1 Organic Lemon

Note: whilst prepping everything grate the lemon rind, set aside, and add to your juice before you drink it.

So what does ‘The Big 3’ Stress Management Puzzle look like when it comes to Juicing for Health – My C32 Healthy Juice #2

Juicing is a great way to get vitamins and minerals adsorbed quickly and easily into your body. Why is that important? I used an analogy in my other C32 Juice # 1 Blog so here’s the link to that. Again it goes back to helping the body maintain its optimal levels so we feel better. When we are healthier it becomes a lot easier to help find clarity in the mind.

Organic Cucumbers

Contain Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Magnesium, Potassium and Manganese. They are great for cancer fighting properties, detoxes the body, cleanses the liver, hydrates skin and the body, improves heart health, improve digestion, relieve constipation, helps alkaline the blood, supports strong bones, prevents or helps headaches.

 

Zucchini (Courgette)

This versatile vegetable is one I try to have the fridge ready to go whether it’s for juicing, salads or cooking. They are great for weight loss or maintain weight due to the low glycemic index and low calories. Filled with antioxidants, a high source of potassium, help with your digestion, help control diabetes, reduce inflammation to improve heart health and help balance both your thyroid and adrenal function. High in Vitamin B which is important in preventing fatigue and keeping a happy mind. Plus, your eyes will be thankful for the carotenoid antioxidants which defend against eye diseases and can help with leaky gut syndrome. They contain Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Vitamin K, Manganese, Riboflavin, Potassium, and Folate.

 

Carrots

As a child, I was told carrots are great for your eyesight and according to Dr Axe they are because they protect your eyes due the vitamin A in them. Due to being a high source of antioxidants they reduce the risk of chronic disease and help your immune system fight off bacteria, viruses, and inflammation. You can decrease your chance of a Stroke or Heart Disease and they help with cholesterol reduction and help protect yourself against cancer. Fighting against cavities and tooth decay due to antibacterial minerals in carrots help maintain oral health. They protect the brain health, cognitive function by preventing Alzheimer’s and also boots your skin due to the high beta carotene. They contain Vitamin A, Vitamin K, Vitamin C, VitaminB6, Potassium, Manganese, Thiamin, Niacin and Folate.

 

Baby spinach

There are so many health benefits when it comes to spinach I could be here all day so I’m only going to list the key health aspects.  Vitamin K , Vitamin A, Manganese, Folate, Magnesium, Iron, Copper, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B6, Vitamin E, Calcium, Vitamin C, Potassium, Fiber, Vitamin B1, Phosphorus, Zinc, Protein, Choline, Omega-3 fats, Vitamin B3, Selenium, Pantothenic acid.

 

Organic Parsley

Contains Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Folate, Iron, Calcium, Magnesium and Potassium. It helps detox, regulate your bowels, decreases bloating, and aids in gastrointestinal disorder, hypertension, cardiac disease, urinary disease and diabetes. It’s got antidiabetic, antibacterial and antifungal properties. Helps the heart, brain and is a free radical scavenger.

 

Organic Apples

Are high in Fiber, can help prevent cancer, promote digestive health, can help treat anaemia, help the body detox, assist in managing diabetes, their antibacterial properties promote good dental care, help people with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, the anti-inflammatory helps Asthma and Gout, lowers cholesterol to help heart disease, and can aid in weight loss.

 

Organic Celery

Contain Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Folate, Potassium, Calcium, Vitamin B6, Protein and fiber. It helps lower high cholesterol, is an anti-inflammatory which aids in treating skin disorders, gout, kidney and liver infections, irritable bowel syndrome and arthritis, helps reduce high blood pressure, can prevent ulcers, protects the liver, helps boost digestions and reduce bloating and may help protect cancer.

 

Beetroot

I love beetroot raw and cooked which is good because they are full of health benefits. They’re great for reducing inflammation whilst supporting the heart and protecting our digestive, brain and eye health. High in antioxidants which contain phytonutrients to protect the body from Cancer. To support a healthy heart, clean the blood, boost endurance, stamina and maintain a healthy sex drive then beetroots are the way to go. They will also help slow ageing (who doesn’t want that?). They contain Magnesium, Potassium, Copper, Manganese, Phosphorus, Folate, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Iron and Sodium.

 

Ginger  (if pregnant be careful how much ginger you consume)

Is a part of the turmeric and cardamom family making it a powerful in treating or preventing many health issues such as strokes, heart disease, ingestion, nausea, malabsorption, bacterial and fungal infections, ulcers and is powerful anti-inflammatory and most of all it has powerful anticancer healing properties.

 

Lemons

I love lemons which is great because they are so good for you! They have alkalizing benefits as the body converts them into alkaline form once ingested. They are filled with Vitamin C (this we all know) which helps with colds and flu. Not only do they contain fiber but they also contain Thiamin, Riboflavin, Iron, Folate, Potassium, Copper, Calcium and Vitamin B6.

 

Remember my motto for positive change is ‘Little Puzzle Pieces Create a Big Picture’… It’s important to remember your Physical and Environmental Stress can be reduced by eating and living a balanced healthy lifestyle. When you’re in good physical health you mentally will feel better thus supporting your Emotional stress levels. 

I like to look at it this way… you can have your Champagne and have a juice too (yin yang balance!).
