Hi everyone welcome back or hello to first time readers!

This is part 2 of 3 of my ‘positive series’ where we do 3 simple things to help us feel positive.

Last week I blogged about ‘How 3 Thoughts of Happiness and Positivity Are Key to Your Success’, the link for your reference will be at the end of this post.

Your time is precious therefore let’s keep it short and sweet so I won’t repeat what I said previously. Let’s look at how we can reduce some of the stress levels.

To some this blog post might seem ‘totally crazy’ and redundant however I assure you I’m not joking! I know people who don’t do this in the morning particularly the first two things on this list! #timetomakechanges

 

Here are 3 Positive Ways to Start the Day by Feeling and Looking Great

1. Brush your teeth to remove bacteria

First thing when you get out of bed is brush your teeth! Why is this important? All the bacteria that’s been brewing in your mouth during sleeping hours needs to be removed. You don’t want all that muck going into your gut as it disrupts your good gut flora (another blog for another time).

 

2. Have a shower - Start your day fresh and alive!

I know this sounds silly but not everyone showers in the morning, therefore I’m saying it! A quick 2 minute shower gets a clean fresh start to the day and has a positive effect on your overall health. You wake up and wash away sweat, and if it’s a little cold it can be very invigorating!

 

3. Wear something that makes you feel good and confident

When we look good we feel confident therefore it reflects in our personality! This helps put our minds into a ‘positive mindset’ which is why it’s important to do. Starting your day feeling confident and positive ‘trains your brain’. You’re able to tackle more things because ‘you can!’

Why? Because you look awesome therefore you feel awesome. This allows your confident, radiant and happy personality will shine!

 

Quick side note - I’m giving you some multitasking tip ideas

For those you are under ‘time pressure’ in the morning ‘Think 3 Thoughts of Happiness and Positivity’ whilst brushing your teeth OR do both these things whilst you are in the shower. You’ll be doing 3 x 2 things all at once, all within a few minutes!

  

So what does the ‘Big 3’ Stress Solutions Puzzle look like when it comes to 3 Positive Ways to Start the Day by Feeling and Looking Great?  

 

I realise to some this might seem a bit silly and you may be asking ‘How can this possibly decrease my stress?’

In my experience when I ‘brain train’ to be more positive I tackle bigger issues with more clarity and overcome them easier. Naturally this helps reduce my emotional stress.

Physical stress reduction happens through brushing away germs that harm good gut flora. This is very important because our gut health is critical to our overall wellbeing (I’ll be blogging about that a lot soon). Until then please believe me when I say it’s a very positive way to start the day.

The shower stimulates the body when you wash away the night’s sweat. It’s refreshing to start the day feeling clean and fresh.

When we’re looking good and feeling well we feel less stressed!  

Give it try what’s the worst that can happen? You’re clean and you look good? To me, that’s a great way start the day.   My motto for positive change is ‘Little puzzle pieces create a big picture’. I’ve given you tools to make positive changes so let’s do this #noexcuses
