Sometimes I find inspiration when I’m off on one of my C32 Globetrotting Adventures! And in this particular instance, I was in Tokyo. I always love returning to this vibrant city for so many reasons, and one of those reasons is for creative vision #lovetokyo!
I’m always snapping away at things I see when walking around this incredible city. The Japanese have such incredible taste, style and design #Ijustloveit everywhere I turn there’s always something new to admire.
Walking down one of the side streets in Harajuku I’ve been drawn to such a simple yet effective space that’s been created. It’s a mixture of simplicity meets style with nature, which when combined has a bold yet subtle look.
I love the way white and green compliments each other and the added grey gives it an extra ‘pop’ factor.
So why am I sharing this you ask? Because it’s about the balancing the boldness with grey on white (Yin Yang) combined with the greenery of nature.
If you’re looking for some ideas for creating a space around the house/yard and have a ‘white area’ that needs a ‘revamp’ then maybe this might give you some ideas? Dress up your space by adding a plant and something grey (maybe a chair or little table?). Let your imagination run wild and see what else you can come up with!
Also, note soon I’ll be doing some C32 Globetrotter blog on Japan so you can see just how incredible this city can be!
Until next time see it, love it, create it! This is Character 32 doing her best to help you!
